Overview of Small Scale H2S-to-Sulfur Processes
While the Modified Claus Process is still the main process for recovering
sulfur from H2S, several new processes are vying for acceptance for
smaller scale applications. Since sulfur is costly to recover and has
little value on the market, acid gas compression and underground disposal
is also an option. A review is presented of various processes for
recovering sulfur from low rate acid gas, as well as of underground
disposal by compression and injection.
Edward Wichert, President, Sogapro Engineering Ltd

Efficient, High Recovery of Liquids from Natural Gas Utilizing a High
Pressure Absorber
Randall Gas Technologies process for the recovery of liquids from natural
gas utilizing a high pressure absorber minimizes horsepower requirements
in either ethane or propane recovery operation and is especially suited to
high pressure inlet gas.
Ross Mowrey,
Principal Process Engineer, ABB Randall Gas Technologies

Moving Down the Resource Triangle
This presentation will be an overview about understanding and uncovering
the value of CBM assets in Canada. Production from CBM wells is an
established and an important component of U.S. gas production yet it is
just beginning to attract significant market attention in Canada. What
could the economic value of this 'new' play be and how will investors
value companies with CBM assets?
